Glutinous Rice

Mitnumchai’s glutinous rice originates from Thailand's North and North-Eastern regions. We use a special rice sorting process resulting in good quality short or long grain rice that is soft, white and fragrant when cooked.

Rice steaming improves milling quality by minimizing broken grains and enhancing nutritional value because nutrients from the bran layer seep into the grain during the soaking and steaming processes to yield grain that is light yellow in color. Our steamed rice can be either dark or light in color, depending on market demand and production control. Selection of raw material with good quality and less impurities makes our steamed rice excellent.

Bran Products
Rough Bran / Fine Bran / Rice husks
1. Rough Bran
Rough bran containing husk particles from the polishing process can be used as raw material for animal feed plant or it can be used to feed animals directly. We have fresh and clean rough bran for sale daily.
2. Fine Bran
Fine bran is rich in nutritional values, including protein, fat, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Its application is in rice bran oil and in the production of food supplements and cosmetic products, too.
3. Rice husks
Rice husks from the de-husking process can be used in a number of ways, including, use as fuel for steam boilers in rice bran oil plants, rice drying units, or electricity generation plants. We have clean husks for sale daily at market prices.
